By popular demand, Paul Ubana Jones is returning to Baycourt Theatre for a special and intimate one-night only performance on July 27.
This show will be much more than ‘a man with a guitar’ – Paul Ubana Jones is a conjurer of unique and original folk songs, rooted in primal blues and soul.
The three-time Tui Award winning singer/songwriter has performed for audiences across the world and shared the stage with acclaimed artists like Keb Mo, Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, Tuck and Patti, Crowded House and many more.
Born in London to a Yorkshire mother and a Nigerian father, Paul Ubana Jones was playing guitar by the age of 11. This was the beginning of a three-decade career that would see him crossing continents and recording eight albums.
Paul Ubana Jones continues to tour regularly throughout New Zealand, Australia, and internationally – delighting old school fans and inspiring new ones wherever he performs.
