Join us for a memorable encounter with celebrated author Dame Anne Salmond reflecting on 40 years of writing and her journey as an anthropologist, activist, friend, wife and mother. Knowledge Is a Blessing on Your Mind: Selected Writings, 1980 - 2020, brings together Salmond’s key writing on the Māori world, cultural contact, the wider Pacific and to today’s debates about race and Te Tiriti.

Salmond is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Auckland, author of countless award-winning books, an internationally recognised social scientist and passionate environmentalist.

Radio New Zealand Senior Producer Justine Murray (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāi Te Rangi) leads a warm and intelligent conversation with Dame Anne as she reflects on her phenomenal career, travels, writing and pathway through our changing land.
