A candid and entertaining evening with one of rugby’s greats. Sir Wayne Smith and friends on the couch sharing stories from on and off the field. All proceeds from this event go to The Cambodia Charitable Trust supporting education in rural Cambodia.
The friends on the couch with Sir Wayne have been announced as Dr, Amy Marfell & Denise Arnold
Dr. Amy Marfell is a New Zealand sport sociologist and the Chief Executive of Waikato Rugby, with a PhD on women and sport, and a background leading initiatives such as “This is ME” at Sport Waikato to promote inclusion and reduce barriers for women and girls in sport.
Denise Arnold is a lawyer and director at Lyon O’Neale Arnold (LOA Law) in Tauranga, New Zealand, who also founded the Cambodia Charitable Trust. She leads the trust’s work helping vulnerable children in rural Cambodia gain access to free, quality education, and collaborates closely with Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
