Join Affixed NZ and the Tinkd Makerspace team in making custom mushroom character badges! Use your creative skills and draw little fun-guy characters to be turned into badges!
Starting with a quick tour of Tinkd Makerspace, showing off some of the epic tech they have available for use, including: 3D printers, vinyl cutters, heat presses, sewing machines, laser cutter and more!
Next, you’ll sit down with the team, cut out paper circles to your desired badge sizes, and start drawing your own lil fungi creatures. You can draw as many as you like, in the time available, then choose any two to be turned into badges with help from the team.
What's Included:
- Paper, cutters and drawing supplies
- Example/guide sheets: mushroom images, mushroom diagrams, cartoon features sheets (eyes, arms, hats, etc)
- Parts for making 2 badges - 4 sizes to choose from
Meet the crew:
For the fungi badges you'll be working with Sarah (Affixed NZ), Riley and Desiree (Tinkd) to create your fun doodles. They are a lively bunch of coconuts (strong on the nuts).
For the tour you'll get to meet some of the other amazing Tinkd Makerspace team members, Andrew and Bobbi, who will be able to answer any of your Tinkd related questions. They are very creative and full of cool ideas, tips and tricks. If you would like to become a Tinkd member/user, they will be happy to help you sign up at the end of the session.
